This was scanned by wakabayashi some time ago so many thanks go out to him for that. However, he kinda messed up the levelling and such as I had to work some photoshop magic to get it to look presentable. It was way too overleveled, the lines were rather thin, and near enough every page had to be straightened. One reason why scanners should only scan unless they know what they're doing as more than often, they tend to damage the image overall.

Anyhow, my complaints aside, there is only five chapters to this volume so it is short a chapter or so this time. However, as you should know by now, Darkness was cancelled early so that is expected. That said, there's also Dash to do after this volume so there is something else to look forward to if you enjoy reading Apocrypha. At any rate, do enjoy. See ya!

Apocrypha Getter Robo Darkness Chapter 23 [English] [Manga]

I know I say this all the time, but while I do like Darkness, it's a pain in the ass to translate and typeset, or rather, in general. I mean, there's generally plenty of dialogue which also makes typesetting longer to do. Especially when there's plenty of screaming in individual text boxes. Anyway, this chapter was pretty good. I especially like Nishikawa's panelling and sequencing. It's great. That said, they was no gender specific dialogue for Ionus until this chapter where he says "another man", so I kinda assumed his gender was female due to his appearance and such, but I'll fix all that when I come to compile the volume in two chapters time. Damn, that Ionus knows what's up. Truly our guy or girl or... gender fluid new half transgender. No, how dare I assume its gender... Umm, setting that aside, I tried that Code Vein Network Test and it's not very good. It has PS3 graphics, clunky gameplay and 20-30 FPS with dips every now and then, and it also shoves a typical Japanese video game tutorial in your face first thing instead of mixing it in with the starting phase of the game like a normal game. But, the customization is neat and there's big anime boobies so 10/10 game. Anyway, do enjoy. See ya!

Yeah, it did take me awhile to get back to working on Darkness. That said, it's not like there's much people who actually read it, but that's not to say there isn't a few since I have been asked a few times about it since I stopped working on it. Anyhow, this chapter is more or less a side-chapter so it's not the main story beginning again, but if you're wondering what the third volume is about for the most part, it follows Musashi and Shikishima's son and their past together from when he used to be the third Getter pilot, and she, well, you'll see.

It looks fairly interesting, but while I do like working on Darkness, it does take some time to do since it's rather text heavy which also slows down typesetting. Anyhow, I'll get through it eventually so just give me some time. Enjoy the chapter. I've also still the final Armitage The Third chapter to do, so expect that soon. See ya!

Here's that manga from the guy who made Getter Darkness I mentioned before. It was a huge pain to do. There was a ton of text and typesetting took some time as well. Because of that, I'm only doing this one chapter and because I just wanted to see what it was like myself and if there would be any interest in me doing it.

That said, the manga does look interesting, but there's a lot of work and effort required. I literally could have done 2-3 chapters of Saga in the time I spent working on this single chapter. However, I wouldn't say it was time mis-spent as I did enjoy. It does have a story and message to convey when you look past all the smut and such, but it is understandable if one would be turned off by all that. Anyhow, do enjoy. See ya!
