I really hate how people thought this guy was gonna die when the author hasn't done that sort of thing in a very long time. It's as if most people aren't paying attention or have just jumped into the series after a good bit of time which is the most likely conclusion. Anyway, this guy is pretty awesome. Hope we get to see more of him later on, and I hope he doesn't die like those other people who didn't last more than a year.

If you haven't noticed, I really, really, really like Terra ForMars, and this chapter really shows why. Action, monologues, political intrigues, interesting characters, humanoid roaches. Need I say more? It has a wide appeal and is very popular in Japan, but sadly it hasn't exactly kicked off in the West. Made even worse by the fact that interest in the series is now at an all-time low, and there are few fans left who are actually keeping up with the series.

But, hopefully interest will pick up once again in future and people will actually talk about the series for once. Anyway, this chapter was good and I'm really interested to see where this is going. Ack! This chapter had a FUCK-TON of text to translate (which is one of the annoying parts of working on Terra ForMars) especially since it had like twice the amount of a regular one... literally and especially because I wanted to get this done after work even though I had a throbbing headache, but I just couldn't help myself. It's not so bad when there's fighting one chapter and talking the next or both, but with this new arc, there is WAY more text than actual things happening, and it makes it a real bother to work on.

Anyway, yeah that Independence Day part got a chuckle out of me but it is fitting in context to the story. However, it does seem things are heating up and I for one are very excited as to what is going to happen. I really liked this chapter. The interactions were nice to see. However, I'd really prefer if Michelle came from a poor family or something similar to those from BUGS #2. I mean, they were all expendable and they knew it. They came from rat-holes where nobody would care if they died or not, and were considered trash. That gave them character. That allowed us to guess what kind of life they may have led and get a glimpse into their character. That actually made them like-ablebecause we could guess what hardships they must have faced in life.

The Annex crew? Not even close. Michelle should have went home to a frail old, sick mother in a cramped poor-ass house like the average American. Not some fancy-ass house. Anyway, I would just prefer it like that. Enjoy the chapter. See ya next time.
