Terra ForMars Gaiden: Asimov Chapter 15 - FINAL [English] [Manga]

Well, we've come to the end of this side-story, and it was pretty fucking good if I say so myself. WAY better than the main series. Boichi and Fujiwara did an amazing job with this and it really shows. However, sadly, not much people are even reading this and it really makes me sad to be honest. Sigh. Maybe since it's finished it'll get more attention, but that's probably just me hoping. Anyhow, this was a pleasure to work on and I would like to thank all of you who have been supporting me and reading this spin-off along the way.

In other news, this now leaves me with another thing off my list. However, if you want me to work on the main series or another spin-off like Keiji's, then you're going to have to at least cover the costs of the volume itself or give something toward it, and I'll be 100% open with what I'm given if people do. Anyway, enough of that. I'll go over the full volume and fix up mistakes, double pages and stuff like that so check out my blog in future for that. Thanks for reading.

Terra ForMars Gaiden: Asimov Chapter 14 [English] [Manga]

Seems I won't finish this before Christmas, after all. Sigh. Well, there is a reason for that. You see, I actually woke up a few days ago in the middle of the night with my left eye hurting like the fires of Hell itself, and I could not see with my left eye for 2 days because of that. It got better as time went on, but I couldn't open my eye so I couldn't work on this or do much, either. So, I just waited it out and I was back to normal within a few days. Luckily enough I got better in time for work I had on that day so it's good that it didn't interfere with anything too important. As for how that happened? Well, I looked it up and there was like a bazillion reasons ranging from a birth defect to eye damage yada yada yada. But the most likely reason is that I slept with my face stuffed in my pillow and cut off blood flow to my left eye causing this fiasco. My own darn fault, I see.

Anyhow, I got on this right away when I could and got it out before Christmas, but I'll have the final chapter out before the end of the year. I think I'll play some more video games instead. Until then. Have a Merry Christmas! SEE YA!

Terra ForMars Gaiden: Asimov Chapter 8 English

Happy to be back working on this. The 2nd volume looks great. Anyhow, I'll just get right down to it. I'm dropping the main Terra ForMars series indefinitely, and I actually mean it this time. It takes away way too much from what else I'd like to do, and to be honest, I'm tired of working on it constantly. The only way I will continue it is that if I'm paid to do so or at least given something for it. That's not me asking, this is just me letting you know.

Furthermore, if you want me to do any other Terra ForMar spin-offs such as Keiji's spin-off, you'll have to at least give me money to buy the book. Scanlation is ALL at the scanlators own expense, so the least the community can do is pay for the manga they want done. Now that I've got that out of the way. I'll be working on another Omorai-kun chapter next, then another 5001 Yakuza Wars chapter, and then back to Asimov unless the next Kyochuu Rettou chapter comes out which I always get on right away.

Terra ForMars: Dropped (Again)

Okay, I'll just get right down to it. I'm dropping the main series indefinitely and this time I mean it. I don't like where the story is going, and I'm just sick and tired to be honest. I've been working on the series for far too long and I need to distance myself from it or else I'll find myself working on it until the day I die. Because I honestly doubt it'll end anytime soon, and I don't want to be working on this another year. Besides, I've done more than enough. Even more so seeing how I've also did Rain Hard, a few one-shot magazine chapters and currently the Asimov spinoff which is more than you guys deserve. That, and I want to move on past this series and onto something else for a change without having to come back to it a week later.

Now, with that said, I really do appreciate all the support and messages I've received over my time working on Terra ForMars, I really do. Thank you all for that. However, there's a time when one needs to know when to stop and that time is now. I'm sorry if this may upset people as it will leave the series dead in the water, but please be proactive on this and actually search for a group to pick up the series. It's not my responsibility anymore. In fact, it was never my responsibility. Scanlators don't have a responsibility to anyone or anything. They do what they want when they want, and that's that. The only one they have to answer to is themselves. Nothing more.

Anyhow, I've really got nothing else to say than the 2nd and final Asimov volume comes out at the end of August, so I'll wait 'till that comes out and then finish the side story. I'm not interested in shitty magazine scans or sub-par digital ones, so you'll have to wait. Not that much people even care or are interested from what I've seen, anyhow. Phew. There was more work to do in this chapter than the last, and it took me a while to find the Pushkin quote in English since the translated Japanese one was sorta different. That, and it didn't name the poem in the manga due to the fact that it doesn't have a name. Also, I credited the guy who translated Pushkin's poems into English instead of leaving it the Japanese credit and company this time as it makes more sense. Anyhow, I'm saddened to see the lack of interest or talk about Asimov's spinoff. For all the effort that I or anyone puts into any work, the least they want is people to read and discuss it. Terra ForMars Gaiden: Asimov Chapter 1 English v1.5

Glad to have this done. Wanted to see what Asimov's spinoff was like myself. And, though it is good and while the art is well drawn it can be a bit jarring at times. In any case, I got kinda bummed out on Vuwaku Evuzenko (Asimov's war-time partner). I searched the net (in Japanese) and such and it didn't exactly come up any actual names so I believe that it may be made up. If it wasn't, it would have appeared wiki pages or places on the net but it didn't. It only appeared on places talking about this spin-off. Also, the Russian title didn't exactly come with anything, either. I tried searching as well but couldn't find its meaning so I left it. Other than that, it seems this will be about Asimov fighting a friend from the past. I mean, didn't they already do that in Rain Hard? Hmph. Whatever. It just better be good. Kyochuu Rettou (The Island of Giant Insects) Chapter 5 - Part 1 English Translation

Hmm. I've decided not to jump the bandwagon so soon and start on Asimov or Keiji as of yet. I want to wait about a month to give me time to work on this and other things and also to see if anybody else may start translating either. That, and Keiji's spin-off is only on that secret IRC register club site thing so I don't have access to scans of it. Anyway, more Bug Rape Island. Yay! In other news, those Vietnamese guys I was working with on Kyochuu Rettou haven't got around to doing this chapter (redraw) yet so I decided to do it myself. And fuck me was it hard. I mean, it's all fine and dandy until that radio tower at the end of the chapter. It took me over an hour for that page alone! But, that's probably me and my crappy redraw capabilities.
