Terra ForMars Volume 18 English

Just lumped all the chapters together with the digital volume raw as I really don't want to go over each page and replace the text onto the digital raw because I'm a lazy bastard and I honestly just don't see the point. But in other news, I've ordered the 2nd Asimov volume and also the Mars File Artbook so I'll be scanning that, too. When they arrive, that is. Give it a month to arrive. *shoots self* Anyway, the author of Terra ForMars has had a sudden illness and thus the manga will be stalled 2 weeks so I'm gonna stall the next chapter myself so I can get another Devilman Green chapter out and give me some time to sort out my hard-drive files and the like. Terra ForMars: Dropped (Again)

Okay, I'll just get right down to it. I'm dropping the main series indefinitely and this time I mean it. I don't like where the story is going, and I'm just sick and tired to be honest. I've been working on the series for far too long and I need to distance myself from it or else I'll find myself working on it until the day I die. Because I honestly doubt it'll end anytime soon, and I don't want to be working on this another year. Besides, I've done more than enough. Even more so seeing how I've also did Rain Hard, a few one-shot magazine chapters and currently the Asimov spinoff which is more than you guys deserve. That, and I want to move on past this series and onto something else for a change without having to come back to it a week later.

Now, with that said, I really do appreciate all the support and messages I've received over my time working on Terra ForMars, I really do. Thank you all for that. However, there's a time when one needs to know when to stop and that time is now. I'm sorry if this may upset people as it will leave the series dead in the water, but please be proactive on this and actually search for a group to pick up the series. It's not my responsibility anymore. In fact, it was never my responsibility. Scanlators don't have a responsibility to anyone or anything. They do what they want when they want, and that's that. The only one they have to answer to is themselves. Nothing more.

Anyhow, I've really got nothing else to say than the 2nd and final Asimov volume comes out at the end of August, so I'll wait 'till that comes out and then finish the side story. I'm not interested in shitty magazine scans or sub-par digital ones, so you'll have to wait. Not that much people even care or are interested from what I've seen, anyhow. Final Word on Infection (Manga by Toru Oikawa)

Hmm. I know I said that I would get another chapter of this out some time ago and even put it on my schedule about a month ago, but to be honest, I really don't fucking want to. I mean, there's honestly no point at all wasting my time doing 1 chapter when I honestly could just work on something more meaningful and something that I enjoy instead, and for one thing finish eventually. That's why I don't plan to continue this series at all, in future or at any stage. You probably already guessed that, but I just wanted to have an official post to let those interested know. However, the actual only way to get me to continue will be by commission. Yeah yeah, I know, but there has to be something in it for me if it's for something that I don't enjoy or really don't want to do. It's that simple. If you want to commission me, I will do it and right away. Not that I actually expect anyone to do that, but it is an option if you really want to read more. Anyway, I hope you guys understand. Ah, yes. What are the things that I have planned after my temporary dropping of Terra ForMars may you ask? Well, first off pic unrelated. However, I would just like to mention that it was a bit sad to see that nobody picked up Infection because as it may not look like the greatest thing ever made, it still does look pretty decent and I'm sure that with translations we'll be able to further judge that for ourselves. And, that's why I'll get another chapter out sooner or later and since I said I would in the 4chan thread not too long ago, but there are some things that take priority. Now, I'll just create a list in order of how I plan to go about things for the coming weeks.

Terra Formars: Revenge - Update

Seems that they've updated some info on the anime's site and a new poster. And I just want to emphasise how much I don't like the new designs. I mean, the animation may look fluid and all but it's far too simple for something like Terra Formars especially knowing the manga designs. At least Linden got 'em right the first time round but it's gone all downhill now. Sheesh. Asimov and Akari have entered JUST mode. I'll drop a few below so you can get a better understanding.

Blog Update - 8th February 2016

Just a little update here for you guys. Now, as some of you may have noticed, the tabs at the top of my blog have been gone for quite some time now. Just over a month, I think. Anyway, in December (if I remember correctly), I received a few DMCA's for those Higurashi Blu-Ray comparison pics I did like fucking last year for some fucking reason. Ahem. Now, they didn't just stop there as they also hit one of my progress updates for Higurashi Rei (even though all that had was the cover of the game and a block of text, but whatever). Why, you ask? Well, I don't fucking know because I wasn't even given a fucking reason. And I appealed but we all know how that always turns out. Like Youtube. You get a general rejection reply without giving you a reason or as to why the DMCA happened in the first place. Wow, thanks a lot, Google. You're amazing. Stupid fucks.

Anyway, just encase anything else were to be targeted on my blog I decided to place the majority of my downloads like the Eva artbooks and such in draft for about a month until things clear. And I haven't got any DMCA's since so I think I'll reactivate those posts and tabs. Not the one's which got DMCA'd but the Eva shit and stuff. In any case, let's just hope stupid shit like this doesn't happen in future. Umm, bye. Captain Jack signing off.

Terra Formars Update - Imperial Scans is Kill

Yes. You heard it right. Imperial Scans is dead and most of their projects have been dropped, including Terra Formars. Too bad. They were putting it out at a pretty good pace, we almost caught up to the raws and then this happens. Yikes! Anyhow, I know the question you are all asking, even got my own reddit thread, and the answer is yes. I'm not really doing much at the moment and none of it is that pressing. Still waiting on Rain Hard, just finished CH 4 of Kyochuu Rettou the other day and my work on GOSSE is more or less whenever I have time. However, it seems that the Chinese (where I sourced my scans) haven't gotten past 150 yet, so somebody's gonna have to clean the raws for me because I have no clue on how to do that. Tried, and failed miserably, and even if I knew how I'd prefer someone who has more knowledge to do it. Other than that, Jurassic Park should be back online soon enough. What do you guys think?

Kyochuu Rettou: Recent Developments - Official JP Site Removes Chapter Reading

Fuck! Seems that the web viewer on the official site for the chapters of Kyochuu Rettou have been deactivated. Fuck! Now only the first and most recent chapter is available to be viewed. Fuck! Fuckity fuckity fuck fuck fuck!!!!! Ahem. Now, what does this mean may you ask? Well, for one thing, I won't be able to view the kanji for translation save for chapter raws 1-8 which have already been put online at Bezald Family, and the most recent chapter, number 15, I think. And second, now I have to frickin' search the net to see if there are any scans or rips of the JP web release, and I doubt there fucking are. Sheesh. I'm pissed off even more so because I planned to fuckin' screencap the chapters this coming Monday to have a backup just encase this sort of thing happened. Fuuuuck! Didn't expect it to be this soon. The second volume isn't even out yet. So that was sort of my personal cut-off date to screencap the chapters. Meh.

Anyway, the first and second volume (2nd coming out on the 20th this month) are available to buy and I already ordered the first a few days ago (before I knew this happened), so I guess I'll have to go ahead and order the second volume sooner or later as well. Meh. However, most of the following chapters are 18 pages long after chapter 4 so possibly most of what was on the JP official site I already have, or is in the second volume so there is still hope yet. We'll have to wait and see on that, though. Hmm. Also, the Chinese have done all chapters available (1-15) but like most Chinese groups they love to have shitty, ugly, fucktard watermarks on their images. Then again, I could use that for scans and the like but that still leaves kanji to be translated, and ain't no way in hell am I going the Song Dynasty route. Ugh! O, woe is me. Meh. Again, we'll have to wait and see what happens, so that'll be all for now. Umm, bye, I guess. 

P.S. - Thanks to the guy who requested me to do this manga for informing me about this. I wouldn't have known myself until I would have went online to the official site this coming Monday. Thanks, bud.

Note & Update - PLEASE READ FIRST

Actually, it turns out that those Thai guys got me scans of chapters 3-15 and wow did I not expect that. Now I don't have to remove watermarks and I can get the kanji. Yes! God bless Thailand.

Anyway, a lot of the info in the main post of this blog post I wrote before knowing that I got scans of chapters 3-15 from those Thai guys. Though at least this post will let you know that I ordered the first volume, that the official site removed the reading of chapters, and that China sucks cock.

Terra Formars: Hentai Edtion & Update!

I’m unsure if you guys who visit and comment on my blog here know, but remember that joke hentai chapter of 138 I released not long ago? Well, it’s funny because that actually got uploaded and approved on batoto, and man oh man is that hilarious. Everybody flipped their shit in the comments section and that was a sight to see. Heh heh. Though one guy saw it as a “translator tantrum” and I have no clue what he’s talking about. I mean, he even thinks that the uploader of the chapters on there is me when it’s not, and that I did the hentai joke chapter because of him. Get your facts straight, buddy. To clear things up, my intention was to see if it would be mirrored across all online reader sites just to fuck their shit up. Anyway, among various other things, a few people also got pissy saying that what I did was childish. Well, all I gotta say it, come on, laugh a little. No hard feelings, eh? All in all, it got removed presumably a few hours later, but that was enough time for a lot of people to see it. Hee hee. What do you guys think of that event? Pretty funny, huh?

Anyway, now onto to something else. Well, you know the current situation with ;display, so are they dead or what? I mean, if they don’t put out the volume they’re working on, who the hell’s gonna be doing the volume releases? I don’t wanna do ‘em. I got enough shit to work on, and even a new manga series I’ll be translating. Though give or take a few months and we’ll see if they put it out or not. I hope they do. However, if they don’t, is there any interest in wanting me to pick up where they left off? Not trying to take anything over, just curious in what you guys think seeing how the volumes will be sitting on a to-do list for the entire series if ;display die on us.

P.S. - That hentai post was just a one off joke chapter, so I won’t be doing anything like that again, FYI. Hee hee. Though it was kinda funny.

Aretha English Translation Update (Game Boy)

Sadly no progress has been made, my translator was busy for over an entire month and I moved onto a project I could work on by myself. I still have this planned to translate in the future but that's on hold for the moment, if anyone is interested in helping or or translating this game then you can have the English and Japanese hex's that I collected. Story
A long time ago, there was a peaceful kingdom named Aretha on Arterra.
Two daughters were born to king Riverton of the Aretha kingdom.
Riverton, wishing for the welfare of his daughters, gave them the two rings Gold Cat's Eye and Silver Cat's Eye.
But then the evil king Howard began to assault the happily celebrating Aretha kingdom.
The Gold Dragon who served Howard suddenly appeared during a banquet, coming to steal one of the daughters.
The desperately resisting Riverton and the Aretha army were forced into a bitter battle, and about to be defeated.
Riverton used his last strength to seal the Aretha temple and allow his one remaining daughter to escape.
Now, more than ten years have passed by.
