Now, I was aware that another scanlation group had already finished this before I made a start on this (like the week before when I checked), but since I had bought the book like a year ago before they did and I found out, I wanted to do the Bus Stop manga. Well, that and to one-up my awful and embarrassing attempt at the VN many years ago. At any rate, I included the old scanlation release in the DL link for archiving purposes. And on that, I was going to do the manga back when I did the VN, but the original scanlation group wouldn't share their private raws with me when I asked and acted as if "if we're not doing it, then no one is" which did annoy me because all I wanted was to do the manga. *sad face* Anyway, I'd say the manga is good, but the VN will always be the best. Man, there's a shit-ton of text in these chapters. They're mostly the same as the VN, but I was sad to see them change the line where not Takano mocks Mion and Rika about them going to live together forever by saying something about them going to the bathroom and getting washed together IIRC. A very minor thing.

Anyhow, I'm glad there's only one more chapter to go because it'll be another thing off my list, and then I'll be able to work my way through more stuff I've got lying around. One of which I started the other day, JUST!! Just what, you ask? Just love.

I really feel bad for Arakawa. That shit just ain't funny. It fucked me up more than Come and See which I watched today I'm just going to randomly let you know. Great movie by the way. Check it out. Anyhow, this was a good chapter, but in the VN, it's the characters from the Bus Stop who take the place of the people in Ara's past, not the characters from the main Higurashi series IIRC. Just a little FYI for y'all.

I took my sweet ass time this past week getting this first chapter done, but I was working on a video encoding project or two as well. In any case, I didn't exactly enjoy working on this. For one, there was a shit-ton of text and I mean, they literally took almost every single line out of the VN and put it in the manga which I say they shouldn't have done. At the very least, they could have slimmed the dialogue down and change a few things to fix better with the pacing of a manga. Meh. For two, I haven't been feeling very well as I have another swollen gland and also a tight jaw this time. Not that my health has ever been good, but O woe is me. Can't wait until I get my mouth and teeth fixed because it's fucking annoying and very painful at times. For three, it was embarrassing to go over the text as there was a fuck-ton of mistakes and errors I made when doing the VN, but that was many years ago and I've come a long way since then. Yup, another chapter from the anthology, but I'll be releasing it in multiple parts as I want to see if there's interest and because I've been stalling that Nagai Robo-Humans short for too long. How do you like your Higurashi? JUST fuck my shit up, fam

Man, have I been out of the loop. Never realized this had a twitter, a website (with lots of information and pics may I add), or what they were adapting 'till now when it was posted about a month ago. Sheesh. Anyway, they're only adapting the first 3 arcs, Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen and Tatarigoroshi-hen. But hey, that is better than nothing. And they might adapt the rest is things go well, I guess.

And while the sets may look decent, the actors (mostly just the club) look kinda odd and older than what they're meant to be playing, and the costumes look like cosplay. Eew. I hate that type of fabric. It looks awful. And take a gander at Hanyu on the main image above, looks like somebody's got their hand shoved up her ass. That, or she really really really doesn't want to be there. And Takano, her smiling is off. MORE SOFTER!! Gah!!! Anyway, kinda excited for this. More Higurashi is always welcome. Satoko and Mion looks the best out of them all. I like their hair. And Tomitake doesn't look too bad, either. Should have placed his hat on him for that pic. What were they thinking? Anyway, everyone else just looks... well, stupid to be honest. They couldn't even get Teppei right. He's meant to be a brute, not some fat slob. But, one can be a brute and a fat slob so it could work. We'll have to wait and see. So, until then, see ya!

Ah, yes. What are the things that I have planned after my temporary dropping of Terra ForMars may you ask? Well, first off pic unrelated. However, I would just like to mention that it was a bit sad to see that nobody picked up Infection because as it may not look like the greatest thing ever made, it still does look pretty decent and I'm sure that with translations we'll be able to further judge that for ourselves. And, that's why I'll get another chapter out sooner or later and since I said I would in the 4chan thread not too long ago, but there are some things that take priority. Now, I'll just create a list in order of how I plan to go about things for the coming weeks.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Kataribanashi-hen - Usomabushi-hen English Part 1

Funny enough, my buddy BaratoMaya from When They Translate asked me to scanlate this about a year ago since she had it translated around December 2014 if I remember correctly, but since at the time I wasn't too sure of my scanlation skills in general, I said to check and see if other groups may want to do it. A year later, turns out a few were asked but none committed nor did it. So, the wheels of fate spun right back around to me and I was asked again a few days ago in fact, and by this post you already know I've done half of it already. Anyhow, since this chapter itself is like 80 pages long I decided to split it into 2 releases. I'll do the next part next week as I need to get the next chapter of Kyochuu Rettou done, and then I'll jump back on Terra Formars after that.
