Going wham bam, thank you mam. Oh, sorry. Anyway, finally we have come to the end of Rain Hard. It was a great ride and I'm glad to be done with it. It was a nice and short little insight into Adolf's past.

That said, there isn't much I'd like to say other than they were a few odd lines as you'll see yourself, there was a good bit of redraw that took a while to do (last page being one), the "pint" part is deliberate (the kanji used was just for a glass so yeah pint) and that I'm getting ready for a wham bam. Other than that, I would like to thank all of you guys who have been with me this far. I really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. Enjoy the final chapter!

Now, as those who come on here may know, I recently finished up work on GOS Special Edition and in a couple of days will finish the final chapter of Rain Hard which will leave me with free time to work on other things next year. What will they be may you ask? Well, first off there's Terra Formars Gaiden Asimov and Keiji and then there's my own personal list that I've got as well. Now, that's my personal list. It's small but I'm not interested in much at the moment. Also, those Vietnamese guys I've been working with on Kyochuu Rettou have also asked me if I wanted to translate a new series that they will be releasing soon called Infection. However, the first chapter is about 60 pages long and I really don't want to translate it because of that. That, it's weekly (I think) and it doesn't look very good. Still, I'll keep it on a to-do list if nobody else takes it on. That said, I'm also open to suggestions so if you want you can mention something below and if it interests me (something that I require), I might translate it. Yes, I managed to get another chapter of Rain Hard our before Christmas as a little present. Now we're 4/5 way through so it'll be good to have it finally done hopefully by the end of the year or early next depending on how things go. 

Anyway, not much to say for this chapter's post other than I got banned from 4chan again (fucking reddit mods) so hopefully kind Anon-kun can dump this chapter, and that I got a warning on Batoto (oh, scary) because of the blurred porn that I've been using at the end of chapters. That, and they removed them so I had to reupload 'em with a jolly message for the credits page instead. Anyway, all said and done, hope you enjoy the chapter and have a Merry Christmas! Terra Formars Gaiden: Rain Hard Chapter 3 English Translation

Gotta stop playing Medieval Total War so much. Seriously causing me to lag behind in this stuff. Anyway, good to get this chapter out. That's us 3/5 for Rain Hard now so it shouldn't be long until it's fully done. Yippee! Then I can move on to other things! And about those other things, I'll be doing a post about that shortly so you guys can know what's up. For one, I'll hopefully have finished Evangelion Girlfriend of Steel Special Edition by this weekend so that'll also free up a shit ton of time to work on other things. It's a visual novel and they take long (an understatement) to translate so it'll be a huge weight off my back. Lastly, there were a few lines that I could difficult so I ran them by a friend, but they're still kinda awkward. Other than that, hope you enjoy the chapter and that special something for the credits page. See ya!

Terra Formars Gaiden: Rain Hard Chapter 2 English Translation

Okay, to be brief, I don't want to partner with those other guys on this anymore. They're taking way too long (cleaning and redraw mostly) and they're asking me to deliver translation and typesetting to them, not them just giving me the clean and then putting it out. Understandable, but that's not how I want to run things. I do everything on my own for the most part, and I do not want to be held hostage like that. The translation and typesetting are the two biggest things that go into scanlation and no way in hell am I giving that to people I don't even trust. Then again, that works both ways so I kinda understand why they wouldn't just send me the clean. But! They were looking to put out their own TL alongside mine and I presume it would have something to do with mine being giving to them first. See what I mean? There's no real assurance what'll happen and I know that's just me being pessimistic, but I'd rather not risk something like that.

Anyhow, now that I got that out of the way, let's talk about Rain Hard. Now, there's isn't really much to say other than a few lines were awkward to translate, and I even ran 'em by a friend just to be sure. And, since I'll be working by myself on RH, you won't have to wait a month plus for the next chapter. Yay! And, I translated Rosa's "Ado-kun" to Ado dear" since just Ado seems a bit awkward. Also, just wondering but is there any interest in me doing that Asimov spin-off by Boichi? It's looks odd, but it might be at least entertaining. All said and done, hope people won't get too triggered by the credits page. Hee hee hee. Umm, bye!

Kyochuu Rettou (The Island of Giant Insects) Chapter 4 - Part 1 English Translation v1.5

Yippee! Another chapter of Kyochuu Rettou!! Things went pretty well with this chapter and I'm happy with the end result. Other than that, there isn't very much I would like to say other than comment on the sfx on page 19 and Rain Hard. Now, the sfx on page 19 is indeed whoosh, so I presume it to be something like a big reveal with wind blowing by. Just wanted to clear that if encase people though otherwise or were a bit confused.

Anyhow, Rain Hard. Soooo, right before I was going to start work on the second chapter of Rain Hard about two weeks ago, I received an email from a scanlation group by the name of Blast Comic Scans stating that they were working on translating Rain Hard when they realized that I released mine. Long story short, they want to work together on it. And I really don't mind seeing how they'll be redrawing and transcribing while I'll be translating and typesetting. That's why I translated chapter 4 of Kyochuu Rettou in the meantime. Though, I'm unsure when I'll have chapter two of Rain Hard out. They're near done transcribing and I have no clue about the redraw. Meh. All said and done, I hope you enjoy this chapter of Kyochuu Rettou. See ya!

Terra Formars Gaiden: Rain Hard Chapter 1 English Translation

Yup. It's finally here. Terra Formars Rain Hard. Now, art aside, Rain Hard is actually pretty good. The dialogue is nice and the story overall gives us a better look at Adolf and his character, and the situation of the Earth inverse, i.e. B.M.A. I like it. Anyway, I won't hold you too long so I'll just mention a few things and you can be on your way. Now, there were a few odd translation hiccups and funky sounding sentences, so I had to adapt at a few parts. But, it wasn't anything major so there's nothing to worry about. Also, I didn't bother to translate the SFX. Kinda lazy. Though most of it is self-explanatory. I might TL 'em when I come to compile the volume, but that's a might. Again, LAZY! Anyway, the JP on page 30 took up a lot of room and the English text didn't fit right to cover for it, so Adolf on that page ended up with no mouth. Furthermore, at the end, it just said "I met Heinrich", but that sounded awkward as fuck so I added in a "then", FYI. And, lastly, gotta love that credits page! Ah ha ha ha ha ha!! Terra Formars: A New Asimov Spin-Off by Boichi & Kenichi Fujiwara

Just a little update to inform you guys that a new Terra Formars spinoff was announced recently. You might have already noticed this via the 4chan threads on /a/, or the Terra Formars wikia. Either or, there isn't any info on it other than it's being drawn by Boichi, written by that guy who did the Outer Mission novels (Kenichi Fujiwara), and it's about Asimov before the launch of Annex 1. What specifically, who knows. Though I'm sure further details will come out sooner or later, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Anyhow, seeing how it's another spin-off the artwork is terrible and lacking like always in comparison to the main series itself, and that's bad. That said, in other news, I'm just about finished translating the first chapter of Rain Hard, so I should have it out sometime this week. Keep a lookout for it. Bye!

Terra Formars: Dropped

I was thinking about continuing the series and I did that quite frequently lately, but I don't' think there's a point in doing that anymore. However, I had to at least finish the volume so 140 will be my last Terra Formars chapter 'side from my magazine releases compiled into volumes which I'll be doing in the coming weeks. That said, I'm not too upset about the fact that Imperial has picked up the series. For one, they'll actually be catching up to the raws which is something to look forward to. And second, it was pressing for me to work on a Terra Formars chapter every week since there was a deadline of sorts that I had to commit to, and the fact that I was doing it all on my own for the most part. So, stopping work on the series will in turn take a lot of that pressure off my back, and give me time and effort that I can spend elsewhere. I.E. Kyochuu Rettou.

Anyway, for the record, I don't hold any ill feelings toward Imperial about this. Yeah, I don't like what happened, but that doesn't mean I hate them. That aside, I do not like the way they're handling the series. They got a few things wrong in 140, and lord knows if they made mistakes like that in 141, and future chapters that they will translate. Though, I guess you could say that they might fix them in the future or it's because they're doing them so fast, but I'm still a tad bit pessimistic about it all. Meh.

Now that I got that out of the way, I'm unsure but I might start translating Rain Hard. Again, unsure, but it is a possibility. What do you guys think? All said and done, I just want to thank all of you guys who have been following me thus far. I really appreciate the comments that I've been getting, so it meant a lot to me. Update - 8th October
Actually, I forgot to cover the other language groups. Okay, the main Spanish group Ouroboros, or their leader just said, "okay". Yeah, an appropriate response for us working together for many months on end this entire year, right? Meh. The second Spanish group (Fansub YamiDrk) who directly translates mine into Spanish was very sad since he thinks mine to be a better quality and more reliable translation than Imperial's. And lastly, the Brazilian group (O Nekomata) said that they understand, and that they thank me for all the help that I gave them, and that they are very grateful. Anyway, I recommended to the second Spanish group and to the Brazilian group that if they're interested in continuing to contact Imperial and see if they'll allow them to work together. If they did or not, and if Imperial has or will let them, well, that's not really any of my business.

Terra Formars: Recent Developments

Well fuck me sideways. Seems that another group has started scanlating Terra Formars. And oh my god why is EVERY PAGE watermarked!? That aside, this totally came out of nowhere and they didn't even mention WHY  they started translating this series, and yes, I checked. I mean, is it fame? ATTENTION? Money??? Meh. I'm not too pissed or annoyed at this, but the fact of the matter is, this doesn't only affect me. I mean, I also work with two Spanish groups and a Brazilian group who receive my PSD's and clean images, so what'll happen to them? Not that anybody gives TWO SHITES other than myself and those involved. Anyway, in other news, it seems that ;display has finally released the previous volume (13) which I'm really glad to see. Thought they'd gone and died on us. However, things are smelling kinda FISHY with their release and Imperial Scans chapter 140 being released on the SAME DAY. Is it a deterrent against me, or am I reading too much into this miraculous coincidence and being unrealistically pessimistic? It's probably just a BIG coincidence. That said, I'll drop the link for their volume 13 release below, so please check it out for their sake. It took them a long time, and even though it is overdue, their constant work on the series since it started needs to be respected. Though if they needed help on anything, it's not like I wasn't open to lending a hand. Just sayin'. Umm, moving on.

Display None Terra Formars Volume 13

Now, to answer the question which all of you are probably asking yourselves: will I be continuing the series? Hmm. I don't know. You see, I'm a one man show, and Imperial Scans is an entire group of from what I see on their credits page 10 FUCKING PEOPLE (overkill much) who will be releasing weekly, and that's just something that I BY MYSELF can't compete with. I mean, I translate, redraw and typeset everything by myself, and the only thing that I don't do is transcribe, which in itself is the smallest part. More so, I haven't even started on chapter 140. So where does that leave me? Limbo? Meh. All said and done, I'm STILL going to translate and release chapter 140 since that'll be the end of volume 14. After that, I honestly don't know. I COULD start working on Rain Hard and translate that instead, but the quality and accuracy of Imperial Scans needs to be checked out. FYI, I don't like their style of translating, nor ;displays, but I'm sure that a lot of people say the same thing about me. Anyway, I want to wait and see people's reactions to recent events and if or not you guys or those on the net want me to continue. See ya, and I'll see you next time. Bye!
